Respect for Intellectual Property
AppCruiser respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the DMCA and any other applicable intellectual property laws.
Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and is accessible on AppCruiser, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice. Your notice must include the following elements:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and its location on AppCruiser (including the URL).
- Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
Filing a Counter-Notice
If you believe that your content was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notice. Your counter-notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location at which it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA notice.
Repeat Infringer Policy
AppCruiser maintains a strict repeat infringer policy. Accounts that receive three (3) or more valid copyright infringement strikes will be permanently terminated. We track all DMCA notices filed against each account. Users who repeatedly infringe on the copyrights of others will lose access to the platform.
